This is an online class with Skillshare

This class will introduce you to Origami, the art of Japanese paper folding

You’ll learn how to fold squares of paper to make a 16-point origami wreath. Find out what types of paper are best to use, what size squares of paper you’ll need to make different size wreaths, and a few fun and different ways you can use your wreath for decorating.
No previous origami experience is needed.  I’ll walk you step by step through each of the folds. I’ve also included a diagram sheet that shows each of the steps in the folding process that you can print out and use as a guide and have for future reference.

We’ll be using the modular origami method of folding. This is a process that uses multiple sheets of paper to create identical individual units that are then assembled into one finished piece.
If you like the spring inspired blue and green colors I’ve used in the wreath below, there are PDFs in the resources section that you can print out and use or choose one of the other papers I describe in the third video and use any color you like to make it suitable for the occasion or holiday you’d like to decorate for.
